Introduction For Newcomers

You are welcomed to join us in our worship services, It is open to all without reservation to any race or religion. No reservation or registration is required. However, you are advised to attend early to ensure that you get a seat. Attendees are also greeted at the door by ushers who will be able to seat you or answer any queries you may have. The service starts of with a prayer and then a session of praise songs. These songs which are mostly accompanied by the church worship team is sung from the heart and giving thanks to God for his love and for who He is. The session then draws to a close with a time of worship where members are in deep prayer attitude. By this time members are offering their individual prayers to God while being led by a a worship leader. Soft songs are either sang or played during this time. After this, new comers and visitors are welcomed and acknowledged. Then  the congregation will sing a song and offer our gifts and offerings to God. After this a portion from the scripture is read while the congregation is standing. Then Pastor or minister in charge will begin a sermon. The sermon is a message with lessons drawn from the Bible. It's purpose is to share the word of God which carries either a practical value or a personal message of each of us. The sermon lasts 30 - 45 minutes. The service then draws to a close with songs, a closing prayer. At the end of the service, members and guests are invited to the adjacent hall for coffee and refreshments. This is an informal gathering and provides you with the best opportunity to mingle around and to know more about us and the Church.
